The psychology society is one of the largest academic societies on campus, dedicated to fostering a deep understanding of psychological sciences. At the Events Department, we are responsible for planning and executing various internal and external events; including, but not limited to, seminars, guest speaker sessions, workshops, learning circles, and various other activities to help increase engagement of the student body with the field of Psychology.

Our newest addition, this department will be responsible for managing the society's budget, fund allocation, and fundraising initiatives. They will also oversee external collaborations, sponsorships, and outreach programs to expand the society's presence, both within and outside Ashoka University.

The Research Department of the Psychology Society is dedicated to engaging with psychological research in engaging and accessible ways. One of our main tasks is to organize Research Reading Circles, which entail holding a circle to discuss a research paper with the student body, including non-psych majors. In addition, we also create information guides and repositories to help students.

This department will focus on building the Ashoka Psychology Review - a peer reviewed compilation of review papers, analytical essays, artwork, op-eds, original research and other pieces. It will be published each semester. This will allow us to provide a University platform for publishing the work of Ashokan students, and will further involve the student body in research through an understanding of peer review, and other nuances of editing and writing

The Helpdesk department is a cohort of senior Psychology students that assist fellow students with queries related to psychology courses, career paths, research opportunities, and more through slots scheduled every week.
